How I Fell in Love with DIY School Supplies 📚✏️✨

Going to the stationery store was pure magic for me as a kid — even if it was just to wander through the aisles and admire all the cute notebooks, sparkly pens and pastel highlighters. There was something so enchanting about back-to-school season… it meant I had an excuse to look for the cutest supplies I could find and daydream about how I’d use them.

But truth be told, it wasn’t always easy. Most of the time, I couldn’t find exactly what I had imagined… and the prettiest things were almost always way too expensive.

That’s when everything changed: I discovered the magical world of YouTube tutorials on how to customize school supplies — and I was hooked! ✂️✨

For three whole summers, DIYing my school supplies became a little ritual of mine.

I’d start by picking out simple, budget-friendly items from the stationery shop…

Then I’d head home, set up my mini creative corner, and bring everything to life.

From decorating notebook covers to making my own pencil cases, turning pens into candy-themed treasures or crafting folders for my sticky notes — I tried it all! And the best part? Watching my friends’ faces light up when they saw what I’d made. 🥰
