How to Make Your Own Custom Stickers at Home!
Ever wished you had stickers of your favorite fandom to decorate your laptop — but just can’t find any in stores… or they cost way too much?
What if I told you that you don’t need to buy them at all?
That’s right, you can make your own stickers at home with super simple materials. It’s so easy and incredibly fun! Ready for the step-by-step?
What you’ll need:
- Clear tape (wide works best) or self-adhesive clear plastic
- The design you want to turn into a sticker
- Parchment paper (or baking paper)
1. Cut out your design
Start by carefully cutting out your design.
I personally love leaving a small white border around the edges to give it that real sticker vibe — but you can cut right along the outline if you prefer!
2. Create the sticky layer
Stick a piece of clear tape (or adhesive plastic) onto your parchment paper — this will act like the backing paper on store-bought stickers.
Then, place your cut-out design on top.
Seal everything in by sticking another layer of clear tape (or adhesive plastic) over the top.
3. Cut out your sticker
Now it’s time to trim the final shape!
Make sure to leave a 2mm border around your design so the sticky layers stay sealed — this helps your DIY sticker last longer.
And voilà! You’ve got your own custom sticker!
The best part? You can make stickers of literally anything. Fan art, quotes, doodles, aesthetic prints — the possibilities are endless. You’ll be hooked in no time!
Let me know in the comments which sticker you’ve always wanted but could never find, because now? That problem is officially solved.
See you next time! Ladybug out!
